SOMETHING ABOUT US
Neil Ruscoe and his former partner Brad Sedito after working together for several years separately, in 2003 they formed Ruscoe-Sedito Construction solidifying the partnership which combined the talents and resources of these two highly experienced individuals. Randy Manchester joined the team in 2012 bringing his experience as a carpenter, superintendent, estimator and project manager to the company. In 2021 Neil and Randy formed R.S.M. Construction as Brad transitioned into a well deserved retirement.
Randy Manchester brings a strong and varied knowledge base to the company. Growing up in a family of carpenters, mechanics, builders, a shop teacher, and a building inspector Randy has been around the industry from a very early age, it comes natural to him. He started drafting and architectural drafting classes all the way back in junior high. After high school while working for a commercial concrete company he entered the carpenter's union apprenticeship program, a year long Computer Aided Design program, and then on to Central Connecticut State University's Construction Management program. After which Randy transitioned into the management side of the industry working for a couple of the larger structural steel fabrication companies in New England as a project manager. Randy's field experience and strong commercial background have prepared him well to take on the challenges that can come with true custom home building and renovations.
Neil Ruscoe has built hundreds of projects over the past 40+ years, working as NBR Construction, and had been the framing contractor of choice for many of the larger local builders. Neil still leads his experienced carpentry crew and is responsible for field operations and hands-on job site management. All of our projects continue to be supervised under the close scrutiny of Neil.
With 80+ years of combined experience, both separately and together Neil and Randy love building custom homes, built with honesty, integrity, quality and the best practices and materials we are allowed. To ensure that the homes and renovations we build stand the test of time, look beautiful and last for generations to come. We feel strongly that amidst the challenges that a new construction, addition or renovation will have that our clients should enjoy the process as we do.
